Breakfast & After school clubs for Furzefield Primary School Pupils
We offer a breakfast and afterschool club for children who attend Furzefield School from reception class to the end of year 2. Unfortunately, we are only able to accept funding between the hours of 0900-1500 so these sessions are charged for at our standard rate (unless community rate eligibility applies). We offer a healthy breakfast and a rolling tea menu including hot and cold meals and this is included in your session price. Please note The Children’s Centre oversee the bookings for our breakfast club however all after school club bookings are managed directly by Furzefield School.
Wrap Around Care for Furzefield Nursery Children.
We also offer wrap-around care for children attending Furzefield Nursery. If your child is eligible for 30 hours of funding, you can claim the additional 15 hours in the preschool between 12-3pm alongside the funded hours your child receives in the school nursery. If your child is not eligible for the additional funded hours, sessions are charged for at our standard rate. As above, breakfast and after-school sessions are also charged for. Please see our page on session times and prices for more information.
The Preschool is term time only, however, we also run holiday club sessions at Easter and in the summer holidays, subject to demand. Places are limited and allocated on a first come first served basis. (We reserve the right to cancel sessions that do not meet our minimum numbers required for running.)
Our holiday club sessions are open to all children aged 3 years to the end of year 2. Children do not have to attend the preschool at The Red Oak or be a Furzefield pupil to attend but they must be at least 3 years of age.
